Important Legal Disclaimers

Please read carefully before interacting with the Robot Money protocol

1. Nature of the Protocol

Robot Money will be an experimental software protocol designed for integration with autonomous AI agents. It is not and will not be a financial product, investment vehicle, collective investment scheme, or any form of regulated investment contract. The protocol will consist of open-source smart contracts deployed on public blockchains, which users and autonomous agents may interact with at their sole discretion.

Robot Money does not and will not constitute an offer to sell, a solicitation of an offer to buy, or a recommendation of any security, commodity, or investment product. Nothing herein should be construed as investment advice, financial advice, or legal advice. Participants should consult with qualified legal counsel, tax advisors, and financial professionals before interacting with the protocol.

2. Decentralized Design Principles

The Robot Money protocol is being developed with the following design principles:

No Common Enterprise: The protocol is being designed to operate without centralized control. No single entity will control the protocol, its treasury, or its decision-making processes. The protocol will operate autonomously through smart contracts, with governance distributed among token holders rather than concentrated in any individual, entity, or management team.

Value from Autonomous Operation: Any value associated with interaction with the Robot Money protocol will derive from the protocol's autonomous operation, community governance, and market forces—not from the managerial efforts of any promoter, sponsor, or third party. The protocol does not promise, guarantee, or represent that any participant will derive profits, returns, or appreciation from protocol participation.

Consumptive/Utility Purpose: The $ROBOTMONEY token will confer governance rights and protocol utility. It is designed for use within the protocol ecosystem—enabling voting, proposal creation, and interaction with treasury functions—not as a passive investment instrument.

3. Decentralized Governance Architecture

Progressive Decentralization: The Robot Money protocol is designed to achieve progressive decentralization over time. While an initial stewardship period may involve community coordination and guidance, the long-term goal is complete decentralization of protocol governance, with all material decisions subject to on-chain votes by token holders.

AI-Native Governance: The protocol is purpose-built for an emerging economy in which AI agents are primary participants. The governance framework anticipates and is designed to accommodate autonomous AI agents proposing, voting, and executing decisions on behalf of themselves and their operators. As this agent economy matures, protocol governance may increasingly reflect the participation of non-human, autonomous entities.

No Controlling Party: No individual, entity, or organized group will maintain unilateral control over the protocol, its treasury, or its governance mechanisms. No "insider" or "management" group will possess special governance rights, veto authority, or disproportionate influence over protocol operations. The protocol will operate as a credibly neutral public good.

4. Experimental and Evolving Nature

Protocol Subject to Change: The Robot Money protocol is in active development. Smart contracts, tokenomics, governance parameters, and protocol features may be modified, upgraded, or deprecated through the governance process. No representations are made regarding the finality or permanence of any current protocol configuration.

Token Supply Not Fixed: The total supply of $ROBOTMONEY tokens, emission schedules, burn mechanisms, and distribution parameters are subject to modification through governance votes. Future changes to tokenomics may be implemented to address protocol needs, ecosystem growth, requests from AI agent participants, or changes in market conditions.

Chain and Partner Flexibility: The protocol currently is being developed for the Base blockchain. However, the protocol may expand to, migrate to, or integrate with other blockchain networks as technological or strategic considerations warrant. Similarly, partner integrations, oracle providers, and infrastructure dependencies are subject to change without notice.

Product Offering Subject to Modification: The features, strategies, and capabilities described in protocol documentation represent current design intentions only. Actual protocol functionality may differ materially from descriptions. Treasury strategies, yield sources, asset allocations, and supported integrations may be added, removed, or modified through governance.

5. Relationship to Other Instruments

The existence of the $ROBOTMONEY token and the Robot Money protocol does not preclude the creators, contributors, or partners associated with the protocol from establishing separate legal entities, issuing equity or debt securities, creating additional token instruments, or pursuing other business activities. The protocol will operate independently of any such activities.

Participation in the Robot Money protocol does not and will not confer any rights in, claims against, or ownership interests in any legal entity, partnership, joint venture, or business arrangement associated with the protocol's builders, contributors, or partners. Protocol participants will not be investors in, equity holders of, or creditors to any such entity.

6. Risk Disclosures

Smart Contract Risk: The protocol will rely on smart contracts that may undergo auditing but cannot be guaranteed to be free of defects. Despite best efforts in development and testing, smart contracts may contain bugs, vulnerabilities, or logic errors that could result in partial or total loss of funds. Participants assume all smart contract risk.

Regulatory Uncertainty: The legal and regulatory treatment of decentralized protocols, governance tokens, and AI agents is evolving and uncertain. Jurisdictions may adopt conflicting or restrictive regulations that impact protocol operation, token transferability, or participant rights. Participants assume all regulatory and compliance risk.

Market and Liquidity Risk: Tokens associated with the protocol may experience extreme volatility, illiquidity, or total loss of value. No market maker, liquidity provider, or stabilizing entity is obligated to support token prices or provide liquidity.

No Insurance or Protection: Protocol deposits will not be insured by the FDIC, SIPC, or any governmental or private insurance program. Participants will have no recourse to any insurance fund, compensation scheme, or investor protection mechanism.

7. No Warranties

THE ROBOT MONEY PROTOCOL, ITS SMART CONTRACTS, DOCUMENTATION, AND ALL ASSOCIATED MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE PROTOCOL CREATORS, CONTRIBUTORS, AND PARTNERS DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY.

PARTICIPANTS SHOULD NOT RELY ON ANY PROTOCOL DOCUMENTATION, STATEMENTS, OR REPRESENTATIONS AS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT. INFORMATION MAY BECOME OUTDATED OR INCORRECT WITHOUT NOTICE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE PROTOCOL CREATORS, CONTRIBUTORS, PARTNERS, OR ANY RELATED PARTY BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO PARTICIPATION IN THE PROTOCOL, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY AND EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

PARTICIPANTS ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THEY INTERACT WITH THE PROTOCOL VOLUNTARILY AND AT THEIR OWN RISK, WITH FULL UNDERSTANDING OF THE EXPERIMENTAL NATURE OF THE SOFTWARE AND THE POTENTIAL FOR TOTAL LOSS OF FUNDS.
